VOLUNTEERS

Ricardo Guimarães is a visionary and a dreamer. He has an I.T. and H.R. background and left a corporate career after holding many executive positions in large multi-national companies (IFF, Allied Domecq, Liquid Carbonic, Coca-Cola) to live a life of freedom and adventures. In 1999, he did one Sabbatical year doing expeditions all over Brazil with his ultra-light experimental aircraft: flying boat. His radical change and his bizarre airplane caught the media's attention and Ricardo was featured on several TV programs, in newspapers and magazines. Realizing the needs of many people in Brazil , Ricardo made several campaigns exchanging tandem flights for food and donating it to needy families. After his first year of freedom, he decided to start a manufacturing business of BRIO Flying Boats and was very successful in this venture, gaining International recognition. In 2004, he took one UNDP mission in Mozambique-Africa, as an Independent I.T. Consultant. He came back to Brazil in 2005, he sold his stock of ultra-lights and started as stock market home broker. At late 2006, Ricardo felt that something was missing. He loves people and wanted to do a business relating to people. So Ricardo approached Network Marketing and visualized a different manner to do this business in comparison to market practices. He invested a year on self-education, developing and testing what became the BRIO Method - a way to reach success in network marketing business with ethics, professionalism, heart and pride, avoiding rejection and frustration. He became one of the most respected mentors in Portuguese language, with several articles and training materials. In May 2007 he met Terri Katz and in Oct 2007, he joined Agel Enterprises as an Independent Consultant.

In 2008, Ricardo founded the “GrupoBRIO Ltd” and developed a new product, HIDROBRIO™. His new venture comes from a 32 year old developing project ,of extracting hydrogen from water, adding in car fuel combustion, resulting in savings due to better mileage and less car maintenance with drastic reduction on emissions. In 2008, practically simultaneously to the launch of HIDROBRIO™, a commitment was established to carry out his dream to care for needy children. With a lot of incentive and dedication of his partner and dear friend, Terri Katz, they founded Brio Dream Foundation. Ricardo and Terri dedicate and volunteer their time to their purpose, Brio Dream Foundation.

Terri Katz has been a career woman most of her life, but always knew there was more to her life than just having success and making money. She was in Corporate America for over 20 years. She worked at American Zinc Mining, Inland Chemical, TRW Cinch Connectors, WVOR Radio Station, and the last 15 years of her career she was an operations manager for a high tech company,Component Sales, specializing in military contracts. Always having an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for fitness. She left the Corporate world and started a Fitness Company. It was very successful, but it was a transactional business. She soon realized that she needed something more, residual income. That is when she discovered network marketing. She was with one company for 10 years, but then found Agel, Enterprises in March, 2006 and her life changed. She has built a successful business, that spans around the world (27 countries). She loves the industry, but still something was missing - a purpose. She met her dear friend and partner Ricardo Guimaraes in May, 2007. There was an immediate connection, and in October, 2007 they became business partners. A growing friendship and learning more about Ricardo's dream and purpose to help children and needy people around the world and his mission of 18 years as Papai Noel, stole Terri's heart, and she knew his dream was now her dream. They founded Brio Dream Foundation in 2008 and dedicate their time and devotion to their purpose, which is their lifelong project.

Natalie L. Thackston grew up in a military family and probably moved 19 times before graduating from high school. She went to college and graduated with two degrees in education and a minor in Spanish. After a few years of work, she realized that the foundation of any learning experience was built on good nutrition. If a person is not well nourished, they are not going to learn at their full capabilities. So, she went to graduate school and became a Registered Dietitian. Her 20-year career in the health and wellness industry had been gratifying and successful. But, she began to look for a change; her life's next journey. Agel Enterprises was just the nutritionally based, scientifically sound, technologically advanced, ground breaking opportunity she was looking for. It was exciting to be working with such a group. But finding a business opportunity is one thing and finding a purpose is another. It was when her friend through Agel, Terri Katz, began to tell her about Brio Dream Foundation that she was speechless. It took her a moment to even compose her thoughts because what Terri was describing was exactly what she had always known could be accomplished with grassroots efforts. She had even tried to share her ideas with others over the years but nothing really worked out. Now, working with Brio Dream Foundation, with friends, and for children she has found just the purpose she was looking for all along.

Jean Carnes graduated from college with a degree in Dental Hygiene and a second degree in Health Arts. She knew she wanted to help people be healthy. She has enjoyed a long career in dental hygiene. Volunteering to provide dental treatment for children in need has been a way to positively have an impact on these children. She knows improving any area of health for children increases self esteem and encourages them to improve other aspects of their lives. She has pursued her interests in health and wellness in other areas of her life. After raising a family, Jean felt it was time to focus on other opportunities and do something new helping people and creating income. In June 2006 she was introduced to Network Marketing and joined Agel Enterprises. It is exciting to be part of a dynamic, fast
growing company with an innovative wellness product and strong message. Learning new skills and being supported in personal growth has been wonderful. Terri Katz has been her mentor and guide in the business. Terri shared Brio Dream Foundation that she developed with Ricardo, and has breathed new life into Jean's dream. Creating income and helping others, especially children in need have completed her picture. Having a greater purpose makes her work a joy.

Cindy Watson: I own a hair salon and day spa, but my passion is writing, because it is fufilling. Using the little talent I have for it to help Brio Dream Foundation is the least I can do, and it is good for my heart to be associated with it. I guess you can say that I believe in Ricardo. For over a year I have been listening to stories about what kind of person he is, seeing him through the eyes of Terri, someone I know to have tremendous heart and depth of caring. I have been touched by his commitment and the love he brings to the children not just in deed but in thought. I can think of no two people better suited to help the children than Terri and Ricardo.  I want to help in any small way I can because it helps me feel better about myself just being associated with them and their cause. There is a pureness about it.  The simple desire to help provide and do right by the children. I feel better about myself knowing I have done something, however small to help them.  It is more gratifying to do something important than to be someone important.   This is the simple lesson you come away with and why I wanted to help.

Michelle Martin was blessed to be born into a loving and caring family in Nebraska. Her childhood has enabled her love for music, ability to excel in swimming, and her passion to be around people.  A summer job in a state hospital where she worked as part of the recreation department team, created the desire to hug freely, listen intently, and delight in a smile she may have initiated.  Having graduated from Kearney State College with a degree in English and a Minor in German, she moved to Denver, Colorado , not as a teacher but was introduced to high tech sales which became her career.  She was happy to balance her work-a-day world with three beautiful children, who have exceeded her expectations in life pursuits and successes.  During this time she met and worked with Terri Katz and that instant sincere, best-friend relationship blossomed and is cherished to this day.  When Terri left the high tech sales world, it was their desire to become business partners in some capacity. They tossed around the idea of a “petite/tall” boutique, …….Michelle being 5'10 and Terri being 5'2.  How much fun?  But there was a more rewarding purpose in store for both.  In the meantime, Michelle met and married her soul mate , Jim, who brings out the best in her, who encourages her to realize her strengths and passions.  At this point, Terri introduced and encouraged Michelle to join her Agel Enterprises team. This brings her to the “now”, to the possibility - no, the reality to lead people to a  healthy lifestyle with Agel.  When Terri shared the idea of Ricardo's purpose Brio Dream Foundation, it instilled the desire to facilitate a type of family love for needy children, to help them realize their true potential, to promote their self esteem and enable them to succeed in making their dreams come true.  How better to improve the world than through the children?  Michelle knew she had to be a part of this journey.  She will work with Terri in the USA to duplicate the program that Terri and Ricardo are developing in Brazil .  This dream has no borders.
