Christmas Eve 2009 at Familia Santa Clara
What a blessed Christmas. We sent the letters from children to Papai Noel in Lapland (Finland). David Gelkin took the letters and filmed Papai Noel reading them. We exhibited the video on Christmas Eve and the children recognized their letters. They got what they asked for, besides other gifts donated from BDF friends.
You are very important part of it, so here we state our gratitude.

This video shows what we exhibited to the Children. It tells Santa concerned with the letters being late. Santa requesting to his helpers to bring them. Night arrives and it seems that they will not arrive on time. The next day, finally they arrived and Santa could read them. Voices by RG and the major messages are:
-(Santa) I can’t understand why there are people that do not believe in Papai Noel. Why is that? I think… What happens to all these people? Why they stay like this, with this feeling. How come? How come they can do that. To forget Papai Noel is in everyone’s heart. How come? My helpers, did the letters from Familia Santa Clara arrive? (not yet) I am preoccupied.
-(boys) Hey guys we need to hurry to deliver the letters from Familia Santa Clara timely, otherwise Papai Noel will not be able to give the gifts they asked for. Watch your head.
It is getting dark. Will we be able to do it? I don’t know.
For many, Papai Noel is just a simble
Okay, a red light in the street is just a symbol and people with good judgement stops the car in front of this symbol.
Believing or not in Papai Noel. I represent the Christmas spirit, the moment when families and friends get together in peace. The moment we see children exhilarating because of the gifts they receive, and the adults too, isn’t it?
What comforts me is that I know that inner every one resides a child that someday believed in me. He or she can be asleep, but I know it still there.
Only you can wake this children up and if you could do it, I know you will feel your heart fulfilled in joy and hope.
So, Merry Christmas and a Happy New year filled with peace, health and love.
This video shows the preparation and the party. Before the exhibition, Ricardo asked who does not believe in Papai Noel. A brave few raised their hands. At the end, he asked the same question again, and everyone said with him: “Eu acredito em Papai Noel” ( I believe in Santa Claus).

Of all the gifts requested, we could not find only a specific hat.
